On its website, the Rossiyskaya gazeta published a review summing up the key messages from the 1st international Moscow Academic Economic Forum organized by the Free Economic Society of Russia, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the International Union of Economists. "According to the MAEF participants, the current economic policy priorities need to be reconsidered — priority should be given to breakthrough technological development, and this should be the focus of the fiscal, tax, and monetary policy," stressed the Rossiyskaya gazeta.
